The masseuse began with a warm up of Swedish massage techniques including effleurage and petrissage. She then moved on to deep tissue kneading, stretching and precisely placed pressure. The massage was soothing and deeply relaxing and I felt relaxed and rejuvenated.
The masseuse then introduced various special massage treatments upon request. She offered a hot stone massage technique that focused on using heated basalt stones to relieve tension and break down knots in the muscles. I opted for the hot stone treatment, as I knew it would give me some added relief as well as further relaxation. The hot stones were smoothly massaged over my body allowing for deep penetration into my muscles, softening the tissue and providing relief. She also applied an oil massage technique which allowed the hot stones to move even further into the tissue.
At the end of the massage, the masseuse applied luxurious aromatic oils. She then gently swept warm towels over my body to remove the excess oil and massage residue.
Following the massage treatment, I was feeling completely relaxed and revitalised. I knew the massage parlour of Newton DE55 had given me a truly remarkable experience. I was so impressed with the massage parlour and the massage treatments that I returned for further treatments in the future.
