Alice had been working at the massage parlour for a few weeks and was starting to get the hang of things. She had a steady stream of customers and was starting to get to know some of them by name. One of her regular customers was a middle-aged man who she knew as John. He was always polite and well-mannered, and tip generously.

One day, John came in for his usual massage and Alice got him settled on the table. She started the massage, using her hands and her body to work out the knots in his muscles. John was making small noises of enjoyment, and Alice was feeling pretty good about herself.

Alice continued the massage, feeling a little uncomfortable but not wanting to make a scene. John seemed to be enjoying himself, and she didn’t want to ruin the experience for him.

Eventually, John asked Alice to stop the massage so he could repay her for her services. He reached into his wallet and pulled out a wad of cash, counted out a few bills, and handed them to her.

Alice was surprised at the generosity, and thanked John as he got up and left the room.
