Once upon a time there was a small town called Millfield, located in the county of PE1. The town had a population of just a thousand people and most of them were country folk who had been born and raised there.

Among the locals were two young people, a man and a woman, who were in love and were planning to get married soon. The man, Jake, was a farmhand and the woman, Susan, was a massage therapist. They went to the same high school, but since they were both busy with their working lives, they had never had a chance to explore romance.

Nevertheless, secretly the sparks had been there for quite some time. Susan had always been attracted to Jake and had often caught herself staring at him from afar. Jake, meanwhile, had admired Susan from afar and found himself daydreaming about her whenever he had some free time.

The couple had a great sense of accomplishment at having established such a successful business on their own and had become the envy of their neighbours. People who came to the parlour praised the massage services and the couple for providing such a wonderful experience for the locals and visitors alike.

This success, however, came with some unwanted attention from the townspeople. Rumours began to swirl that Jake and Susan were secretly running a brothel and people started to accuse them of providing a place for immoral sexual activities.

The couple denied the accusations vehemently, but the rumours would not disappear and soon enough, the couple faced legal action from the town government. They soon found out that the town had passed a law that prohibited any illicit activities in massage parlours, and they were now facing hefty fines and possible imprisonment if they didn’t comply.

At first, they were devastated at the accusations, but after consulting a lawyer they were advised to adhere to the laws of the town and to take their business elsewhere. Reluctantly, they closed the parlour and decided to move away from Millfield.

The couple eventually settled in a neighbouring town and opened up another massage parlour, but this time they were even more discreet regarding the services they offered. They took great care to ensure that they were not breaking any laws, and eventually the rumours that had caused them so much trouble began to dissipate.
