At the far end of the room was a long bar, complete with a variety of alcoholic beverages and juices. Next to the bar was a small corner lounge, where several customers were already seated chatting in a relaxed manner.

The woman I had seen earlier was now standing behind the counter, a welcoming smile on her face. She gestured for me to come closer and as I did, she took a moment to look me up and down before introducing herself as Giselle, the massage therapist. She asked me what kind of massage I was looking for and I responded with “Full body”.

Giselle nodded and led me to a room off the main area which was lit with soft pink and white lights, the air filled with a sweet aroma. Giselle instructed me to strip down to my underwear and lie down on the table. As I did, Giselle began by pressing her warm hands into my back, kneading my muscles to help improve my circulation. As her hands moved across my body, I began to relax, feeling the stress and tension leaving my body.

After a short time, Giselle moved onto my arms and hands, massaging them softly and with gentle pressure. My breathing deepened and I could feel my body beginning to decompress and release the built up tension. Giselle then increased the intensity of her massage, focusing on my shoulder blades and the base of my neck. This felt absolutely amazing, with each movement loosening my muscles and helping to ease away any pain and discomfort.

Once Giselle had completed the massage, she stepped away from the table and asked if I would like her to perform any extras. I thought for a moment then declined, feeling more than satisfied with the massage I had received. It had been one of the most relaxing experiences of my life and I felt revitalised and lighter than ever before.

Giselle gave me a moment to get dressed before handing me the bill for the massage. I thanked Giselle for her excellent service and left the parlour, feeling more relaxed and content than ever before.
